I "discovered" Leslie Nielson when Airplane! came out. Somehow, I'd just never noticed him before and then there he was, one of the funniest comedic actors I'd ever seen. It was only after that that I realized what a huge amount of work he had done. He had the heart of a clown and we are all poorer without him.
